Whilst our building process is predominantly hand-crafting, utilising traditional woodworking tools & techniques to create, what we feel, are beautiful contemporary pieces.
We do however believe there is a place for new technology, as such we have implemented CNC [computer automated routing] and 3D printing facilities in house. Whilst they are used for only a small portion of our products, their accuracy cannot be matched by hand or conventional tooling.
It’s an “Old meets new” ethos... taking the best of both worlds to achieve the finest possible results.
An example of CNC implemented construction, is in the waste placement of our plugs, achieving the ultimate in fit to ensure long product life and bathroom safety.
Another example, and an important one at that... is achieving "fall" in the seemingly flat bottom surfaces of our basins and baths. This gives water a defined path to the waste, again ensuring long product life.
